SUMMER FISHING TOURNAMENT - JULY 16, 2016
Members and volunteers from the Lake Cadjaw Watershed Association rang in the holiday season on Saturday, November 26th in Downtown Honesdale. This one-day event brought many visitors to our booth and $386 was realized for our attempt to save the dam. Special thanks go out to Melissa and Wes Carpenter of CT for donating hot chocolate and cookies. Additional thanks are extended to Will Hazimoff and Wes Carpenter, Judy Menago, and Tom and Linda Tallman for volunteering their time on the holiday weekend to promote awareness of our story. Winners of the five donated baskets were chosen by Ann Munley of Tafton, PA and the winners were as follows:

ICE FISHING TOURNAMENT - FEBRUARY 13, 2016
A profit of $564.34 was realized at this year's Sidewalk Sales on Main Street in Honesdale.

The winner of the 2016 Kayak Raffle is Eric Havemann, of Toms River, NJ. Pictured with LCWA President, Tom Tallman, Mr. Haveman was excited about being the proud owner of a new kayak. He stated that he wanted to give back to LCWA and in doing so, he made a very generous donation to the "Save the Dam" fund, which was graciously accepted.

Tick Tock's Restaurant in Honesdale, PA held their "10% Tuesday" weekly event at which the Lake Cadjaw Watershed Association was the recipient of 10% of all food sales on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. The LCWA is very appreciate to have been selected as a recipients and our thanks go out to Bonnie Stinnard and the entire staff at Tick Tock's Restaurant for this generous donation.

DONATIONS:
During the day, Ellen Wertman conducted a youth tournament and Kadin and Vada Killam each caught 8" blue gills. Kadin was rewarded with a flashlight and Vada received a tackle box, compliments of Ellen.
It was a beautiful summer day and perfect weather for our tournament. Thank you to all who donated and participated.

On Saturday, February 13, 2016 the Lake Cadjaw Watershed Association held its Annual Ice Fishing Tournament. Prior to the scheduled event, 35 tickets were sold and nearly all who pre-purchased tickets attended this event, despite the bitter cold temperatures and below zero wind chill. Everyone that attended, including adults and children, enjoyed fishing and socializing while contributing to our efforts to save the Dam at Lake Cadjaw.
Will Hazimof, Ellen Wertman and the Nicholas Slish family provided homemade chili; Dave Strahler donated marinated deer and bear meat for all to enjoy; Kelly Heath provided homemade breads and desserts; and Tom and Linda Tallman donated hot dogs, burgers, condiments, and beverages.
Ryan Tallman/Tallman Masonry, Inc. donated the comfort station.

Despite a cloudy day on Saturday and windy weather on Sunday, a profit of $313.00 was realized at the Harvest & Heritage Days on Main Street in Honesdale.
